Hailing from Casino, NSW, The Taciturn delivers raw, emotionally charged pub-rock with a venomous clarity. Within 24 hours of debut, 'You Got Nothing' was picked up for the Pinguin Radio Showcase (Netherlands) and added to VIP Music’s 'Road Trip' rotation. Australian rock magazines Heavy and Rocker are taking a keen interest in promoting The Taciturn also. Influenced by the grit of Spy vs Spy and the surf-guitar precision of The Shadows." The Taciturn's album "Where Walls Once Stood" contain songs written and recorded post divorce, navigating new relationships and being a single dad. These songs convey the feelings of those years and the influences of growing up in Brisbane, Australia during the 80's and 90's. Guitars, Bass and Drums are the driving force of this album and bring the sounds of listening to the Shadows as a child but with the thumping bass lines and the aggression and venom that can be found in many Australian bands including Midnight Oil and vs.Spy.vs.Spy.
