About the Artist

Jimmy Bear is a seasoned singer-songwriter, guitarist, and live performance artist who has been captivating audiences since the age of 17. Known for his soulful country vocals, exceptional lead and rhythm guitar work, and dynamic stage presence, Jimmy has carved out a respected place in the Australian music industry. His talents have taken him from playing with blues legend Bo Diddley to supporting some of Australia’s most iconic bands, and even writing for country music royalty—his poignant track “The Last Ride” was recorded by Slim Dusty on the gold album The King of Kalgoorlie (EMI). Some songs are written… and some songs are felt. “See You Again” is a raw, emotional journey through love, regret, and longing. From the very first line — “You’re leaving but you never said goodbye” — the story hits with honesty and vulnerability. It’s that moment we’ve all faced: watching someone walk away while the words we needed to say stay trapped inside. Verse one captures the sting of unfinished goodbyes. A smile, a teardrop, and the silence that lingers long after the door closes. Then the chorus opens the heart wide: “When will I see you again – oh I just wanna hold you in my arms again.” Simple. Direct. Powerful. It’s not complicated — it’s human. Verse two deepens the ache. An empty house. Long nights. Days filled with memory. The repetition of “I need you” isn’t weakness — it’s truth. It’s love stripped back to its most honest form. The bridge adds a haunting image — throwing coins into a wishing well, hoping for something that may never return. Falling under a spell. Needing love. Needing that love. “See You Again” is for anyone who’s ever loved deeply, lost painfully, and still held onto hope. Sometimes goodbye isn’t the end… it’s just a question waiting for an answer.
