‘Bartender’ is a late-night, whiskey-soaked confession from a woman who’s done pretending she’s fine. After a lousy year, and a husband that walked out with someone else, leaving only a note behind, she grabs a barstool and tells the bartender her story between rounds. One stiff whiskey at a time, she drinks down the regret, trying to numb the pain and heartbreak. Somewhere between last call and the truth, she finds the courage to let go and move on. This is her song !! Highway 95 is an acoustic/rock country music duo, based in Karratha, performing at events and local venues across the Pilbara. The duo formed in January 2023, featuring Bob Derschow (a traditional owner in the Pilbara Region) on guitar and Nicole Bylund on vocals. Both have many years’ experience performing in multiple bands over the last 20-30 years. They share a passion for writing and performing original music. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses modern country music vibes with a strong vocal and guitar presence. The emotion in their music shines through with every performance, captivating their audience, and allowing them to connect emotionally with each song
