Monique Murphy is a rising voice in the indie rock scene, hailing from Newcastle, Australia, now based in London. Bedroom poet to performing artist, songwriter and contemporary dancer, Murphy merges confessional storytelling, intricate vocal harmonies and driving guitar riffs. Murphy's debut EP, 'Sod's Law', will debut in spring 2026, resonating with fans of The War on Drugs, The Cranberries and Julia Jacklin. Deeply involved in the Newcastle and Maitland event scenes, Murphy organised community-led, multidisciplinary shows with friends, including Newy West Block Fest, Prickly Pear and Girls Will Be Girls.
