Kurt Carrera is an emerging Pop R&B Artist with Filipino born - Australian raised roots, currently residing in Boorloo (Perth), Western Australia. For the past decade, Kurt has been captivating audiences with his live performances, steadily growing his fan base in the vibrant Perth music scene. Among his achievements, Kurt has graced the stage at Optus Stadium during an AFL Quarter-time show, opened the 2025 Telethon WA Music Showcase performing live on national television, and performed as part of Perth Festival 2026. Additionally, he has shared stages with accomplished artists such as Conrad Sewell, Gabe Bondoc, Supathick, and End of Fashion. Kurt’s musical inspiration draws from the likes of Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, and Anderson Paak. These influences shine through in his music, infusing it with a unique blend of modern pop and a touch of nostalgic R&B flair. “VIBE!” is a groove-driven R&B/Pop track inspired by the early 2000s live-band era of artists like Justin Timberlake, N.E.R.D and Usher, blended with the modern funk and soul influences of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak.
